Since we are also food bloggers, we recently visited Dan Nang Kitchen & Bar in Hammersmith for entirely unrelated reasons to blogging. We enjoyed the food very much, even the deep-fried frogs legs in a light batter (which we initially ordered in jest but actually turned out to be quite delicious). For main, we had a tender pork stew thing with an incomprehensibly Vietnamese name that was comprised largely of pork. Rice was extra. The spring rolls were a revelation.
Unfortunately, Da Nang Kitchen & Bar don’t let you take the staff home with you in a foil bag or such like. Our waitress was a delight and literally half the size of me, and she understood at least 45 per cent of everything we said to her. We’re having coffee next week.
